Balayage Highlights
The method originated in France in the 1970’s. From the French word “to sweep”, Balayage is an alternative to foiling - a coloring, natural technique with minimal maintenance, used to create sun-kissed, natural-looking highlights. Hair color is painted onto individual hair strands to create depth, lightness and dimension.
Ombre Color
The gradual blending of one color to the next – usually dark to light from root to ends.
Bronde Color
