Thea Ciallella, owner of Thea•ology Salon & Day Spa located in Midtown Plaza in Palm Beach Gardens, graduated from Blaine “The Hair and Beauty School in Boston” where she studied precision cutting under John Dellaria for five years. She then moved to Florida and was introduced to Palm Beach where she has mastered her craft and grown as an artist doing hair for many prestigious weddings from The Breakers to Mar-a-Lago being revered as one of the up hair masters of Palm Beach. Thea has continued her education in New York at the L’oreal Academy keeping up with all the latest trends and styles. Thea has done numerous weddings, magazine covers and photo shoots for the Palm Beacher, Ocean Drive, Town and Country, Grey Matters and GQ. She is also involved with many fashion shows like Oscar De La Renta, Carolina Herrera, Marc Valvo and Bill Blass just to name a few. She has been involved with charities such as Little Smiles, Leukemia Foundation, The Happy Camper Foundation and Hospice. Why did you get into the business? I have always been interested in hair and fashion! Growing up I always around my father who owned his own barbershop and salon before his passing. For years I observed my dad and his colleagues style hair and make others feel good both inside & out with the passion that they exhibited for cosmetology.

What sets  you apart from everyone else? I am constantly learning whether it is in a class or online. I strive to be a master in all thing’s cosmetology – hair, nails, or skincare.

Describe your passion. Whenever I am styling hair for clients, my friends or family I thoroughly enjoy the feeling I get from looking at the finished results & their satisfaction. It brings joy to my heart.

The New Talent Division is a rigorous program for new and even accomplished hair stylists/colorists that requires one year of classes, practice, and tests.  Thea•ology goal is to nurture a family of stylists that are the best at what they do. This is an intense grooming process that even the most accomplished hairstylists and colorists benefit from.
